Designed for movement professionals and practitioners looking to expand their teaching practice, this 40-hour Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme offers a more mindful and anatomically informed approach to Barre training.
Led by Karen, the programme combines strength, mobility, posture, sequencing, and embodied movement with a deeper understanding of alignment, nervous system awareness, and sustainable teaching practices. Students are encouraged to move beyond purely aesthetic or performance-led approaches toward a more intelligent, supportive, and responsive way of teaching Barre.

Throughout the training, students are introduced to a broad range of Barre methodologies and teaching practices designed to support confident, sustainable, and anatomically informed movement instruction.
Through guided practice, discussion, observation, and applied teaching, students develop greater confidence in delivering Barre classes with clarity, responsiveness, and a more considered understanding of the body in movement.

This training is led by Karen Aspinal, whose approach to Barre combines intelligent movement, anatomical awareness, and a more mindful relationship with strength-based practice.
Drawing from her background in dance, fitness, and movement teaching, Karen encourages students to approach Barre in a way that feels both supportive and sustainable, balancing challenge, technique, and body awareness within a grounded and encouraging learning environment.
